If you still can't get out, consider it 'practice' and stare at space in front of you, or whatever images pop up in front of your eyelids. One time I created a little cartoon guy in an airplane (I'm a mother, what can I say) and he threw me a rope and I got out that way.

Don't despair- it takes some people a long time- so maybe you need to practice more, read more to get you in a relaxed mood (like 'who cares' instead of frustration- and you'll get out.
