Do you mean your head was where your feet were in the physical? That happened to me a couple times but unfortunately I can't say why it happened.

I had been experimenting with with sleeping north-south and south-north in the weeks prior so that may have been the cause but I'm not sure. It could also just be a signal from your higher self that enables you to tell that you're in an OBE because sometimes it's hard to tell if you're awake or not.
