Hi,

Someone talked about going back to a past experience, and then inhabiting their body in that past event they are viewing of themselves. For example, if I projected back to myself ten years ago, and inhabit my younger body, with my current spirit.

The response to this was that once you do that it is no longer an astral trip, since you're bringing your body with you to a different reality, this reality is no longer real for you.

And it ended like that

I was wondering if someone might know how to give this question a better answer. Like how would it be possible to inhabit your past body, and what did they mean by bringing your body with you to another dimension?

This is not a better answer, just more complicated. But you asked, so:
One possibility- Your Spirit is eternal, so when you go back in time you just brought the same spirit back, so there is no difference- the memory will stay in that time, so it's like it didn't happen.
Possibility #2- Your Spirit being eternal is already everywhere/when; so, what goes back is your projected double, which is not the same "me" you were. So if you inhabit your body, it will share 2 different consciousness (in other words, you will possess yourself, and maybe cause yourself all kinds of psychological problems. At this point, what you can remember is up for grabs.
Possibility #3- Projectable double, not eternal, but, since 2 "objects" can't exist in the same body (No, I don't know this, this is just a thought experiment) You kick yourself out of your body, in other words you are your own "step in" and are caught in some sort of endless loop.
Possibility #4- You go back (projectable double again- more fun) you attack yourself and win. You never come back and now your body is a vegetable.
We can do this all day.
