hey everyone! it just came across my mind a couple days ago, so I was wondering: Are there any side effects to learning astral projection? Like after I am able to project, will I see entities like ghosts in the real world or other strange stuff?

Hearing stuff seems to be common. I've heard the sound of paper being wrinkled right behind my head, I sometimes feel objects from my dreams when I wake up (it's happened more than once that I thought I was holding a pencil until I started moving my hand), when I've gone to sleep I've felt a person laying next to me at one time and other similar things.

Hearing, seeing, feeling, tasting and smelling things that can't exist physically can be scary if you let it, but I've noticed that the best thing you can do is to simply not accept the fear. Once you don't accept the fear (which can be difficult for some but it's possible) it's a lot easier to examine the sounds and lights and see what they really are.
