Here is an interesting thought. It is claimed by some projectors that religious prayer and belief has actually built over time a Muslim heaven, a Christian heaven, a Buddhist heaven in the higher planes of existance. Hell I guess is the lower planes of the astral. So the question is, when a story becomes massively popular and millions of people read it, does this create a mass consciousness sufficient to create an energy local in the astral?

One thing to note is the Tolkien and CS Lewis were close friends and both are claimed to have studied esoterics. Tolkien was very interested in the battle between good and evil and there is great depth to his trilogy.

There is caution to the story. Do not go looking for trouble unless it is already looking for you. Be careful what you wish for. What seems interesting from a safe distance can be very different up close. Also, it is unwise to focus ones thoughts on such dark images prior to attempting projection. Like attracts like is a general rule and we are not talking about something easily shaken off. Good way to land yourself in a heap of trouble actually. It is all fun and games till someone loses an eye. And you could lose a lot more than that if you are unlucky.
