Default question about physical pain with projection efforts
I'm consistently failing in my efforts at consciously projecting (not alone here, I'm sure). What's bothering me is some of the "physical" symptoms I continually run into which cause me to abort my efforts. It's actually quite painful.

I'm encouraged by what I believe are all the right things happening -- trance, vibrations, loosening my projectable double, and the beginnings of a separation using the rope climbing technique. The pressure on my body (on my physical body, I believe) gets very, very intense and I feel I'm right on the edge of "bursting out" as I climb.

But I've got a sometimes painful lower back condition from an old injury (on the left side) that always comes into play here -- I get a sharp, stabbing pain at that point on the left side of the base of my spine/pelvic area that grows in intensity the further my "separation" progresses. It gets so painful that my focus is broken and I have to stop simply to relieve the pain.

I'm doing lots of energy raising work and trying everything I can with the NEW ways to stimulate that area on a regular basis, hoping to clear any blockage that may be there. I'm also spending considerable extra time on the relaxation phase of things to make sure I'm not trying to project from an insufficiently physically relaxed state.

But the knowledge of the old injury there and the persistent pain brought on by my efforts is, I fear, starting to generate a less than positive pre-expectation in my mind, and this kind of thing I'm sure will work against me as well.

Is it likely that I just need to keep forging ahead with daily and regular energy work and relaxation techniques, in the expectation that I'm just not fully where I need to be (in terms of relaxation or mental control) in order to project? Or is it possible that I've got a physical issue that is particularly problematic and I need to address it in a special way?

Comments and suggestions, if you have any, are welcome and appreciated.
