Owner installed a new waterheater last year march. It broke down last week, unrepairable. So the owner bought a new one (yes, we have an exceptionally nice and reasonable landlord). The guy installed it, and it did not work. He suggested getting an electrician to check out the thermostat. He was really surprised I told him to put the ****ing thing back into the box, and to go back to the ferreteria to get another one. But he did it, and guess what, the new one works. I do not know for how long though...

Repeat the above story with the flushes on the toilet not working, the kitchen faucet, etc...

PS... I still love it here... and I cut my hair real short so the grey is not that visible...
Yes! Your story is similar like mine.. After a while I just shake my head and accept it for what it is.. Also I cant count how many times a trades person with a power tool plugged into the outlet without a "plug" on the end of the chord, just the two wires put into the socket... I always wonder what happened to plug?
