I think it is possible. The DR is not a poor country and if wealth was dristributed evenly, it would not look like a poor country. The problem is that the top 10 percent of the population holds 40 percent of the wealth!! The wealth would need to be distributed better to be a developed nation.

Yeah right, like this will happen.
