ISO certification means very little, IMHO.
It means the participating entity signed up for them, paid,
complied with documentation they required, and were
eventually issued a certificate. I never saw an actual auditor in
20+ years with companies being ISO certified, where auditors actually showed up.
Great business model they have, it' very successful. But in my
experience, it was just another plaque to hang on the wall.
It was expensive, cumbersome, and we did all the work for them
to issue a certificate....just a certificate. Quality was not the issue,
it was just compliance....and in writing. Great marketing tool, but not
a quality of service tool.
Whomever thought up the concept is brilliant, and laughing all the way
to the bank.

this msg. is nit ISO 2012 certified!
