What a lot of people need is the hope of getting up to Sosua for that little wedding bash.

Sosúa is digging and cutting its way out, people are getting their lives back in order.

There is, however, fairly widespread flooding and damage in the east where a lot of poeple were on flood plains and lots a lot of their stuff-if not all.

A funny (sort of) photo in today's El Caribe (www.elcaribe.com.do) shows a billard table on its side, and those are heavy, really heavy items.

As to how long the $500 would last at an open bar? Depending on the thirst of the DR1ers, it could last a few hours, as long as Criscolon, AZB,Cleef, BadPiece or a thirsty HB don't show up!
