On a Internet forum many confusions can be spread if left unchallenged. And in a time when genuine deep knowledge of Islam is rare we will get many foolish and ignorant ideas being expressed...if ignored they will never learn the truth. Fools must only be ignored when Islamic knowledge is widespread and many people are exposed to it so that fools are easily apparent and they can be directed somewhere to get knowledge.
Thats why you NEED a structure. So that genuine users can resolve problems, or get a better understanding of problems, without random fools interrupting and diverting the the hypothesis !

Without a structure, expect infiltration, and expect a whole lot of futile time wasting refuting those who have no concern to learn.

You can call a structure when their is a decisive issue - instead of 300 posts of just random argument, and counter argument, leading to a mess of posts where the user has to scroll through hundreds of posts and then decide how it all fits in ? This just adds to the confusion on some issue ?

You dont need a structure for EVERY thread, just when there is a contentious issue.

This way you can direct a question, into a framework that is methodological. The forum is just a open discussion. Its a tool. As intelligent people, the regular users must enhance the tool to reflect the need of the niche, in this case Sunni Islam.

I dont think you would all sit in a large hall for years, and just continue posting your replies to the annoucer, without having some framework on which to decide vital issues, so why do it online ?
