In my mind, the "Judgment" of God is actually much more simple then "Who's the best."

The way I see it, Heaven is Life and Hell is Death. Now someone is alive because their body is connected to their spirit. When that connection fails us, we still have our second life (which begins the day we are "Born Again") and that is our connection with God. If WE do not accept the Love of God (and subsequently Christ) then we never form a lasting connection with Him. So, Hell is the second death, but really it's a lack of that connection with God.

Heaven has greater rewards for some ONLY because for some their mutual Love with God will be so much stronger. With trial comes strength; Strength of our Loving connection to God. God may say, when the day comes, that He knows you, but how close have you been with Him?

Hell is hell as far as I can see. I don't think it has layers and I don't really care to find out. My interest is in God, His Love for me, His Love for all living things, and my Love for Him. Mother Teresa Lived a hard life and only grew closer to God because of it. She Loved what God Loved and that only made her bond with Him stronger. I sing praises to God for my hardships, for it only serves to bring me closer to Him.

So you are right, sagirlmj, to wonder about those "mentioned in the Bible like Peter, Paul, Job, Moses, David..." They knew God very intimately. All of these men have either met God (in some form) or heard His voice, before their initial death. They were honored among Men and I think that they will be honored in Heaven.

Does that actually sound simpler then a comparison to others? I think it does, but it came out of my head, so that's only natural.
