I was having a pretty crappy morning, then I saw this on facebook, and it totally depressed me. Not gonna lie, I got pretty teary eyed on my break at work.
With all his injuries lately and spending a lot more time at his academy, I was sort of expecting it, but I still had hope it wouldn't happen any time soon.
One of my favourite tennis memories was watching him win The French Open.
Another is meeting him at Indian Wells and being the only person to watch him practise for a while as well (a few people saw me watching him and decided to come watch too :P). He was really nice, and I'll always cherish those memories
. There was nothing like watching Juanqui play at his best, for me.
Still, meh.
