Anybody know how many wild cards the USTA is allowed to give out? Trying to make sense of the Vania King/Jesse Levine situation (i.e., they wanted a WC but didn't get it), and not finding it specified in the USTA or Slam rulebooks (which doesn't mean it's not there -- sometimes I skim right past the obvious, especially when I'm trying to watch matches at the same time *sheepish*).
