Whether or not he wins (and I think he does) today, you gotta credit Ferru for a career year - at 30 years old. When he fell out of the Top 5 in 2008, I was pretty convinced that he had peaked, since his game is so reliant on his ability to chase down balls, and maintain a good amount of speed on the court. That's not the type of game that ages well.

Instead, this season, he has gotten to at least the Quarters of each Slam, and won titles on hardcourts, clay and grass (he's won 5 titles overall).
