She has said that she's going to go back to Stanford this year which means they are absolutely going to be STACKED. But she's ranked high enough with this result to get into all of the GS qualies directly so hopefully Stanford will let her travel and play those for the experience because she could easily be top 75-100 in the next year or so. I saw her play in Lexington when she beat Rogowska and I pretty much agree with your assessment of her game. The serve is definitely the weak point and she can tend to get down on herself if her shots aren't landing but she's definitely got a huge upside.
I think it's a huge mistake to finish at Stanford, but they said she's still considering medical school instead of tennis.

Not only is the Tipsarevic-Rufin match highly entertaining on court; but Todd Martin and his announcing partner are also excellent
Many (most?) of the ESPN commentators could learn from them

and Rufin just went up 2 sets to love
I listened to Todd Martin earlier and he is excellent. He's self deprecating, insightful, and doesn't feel the need to announce the score or fill up every silence.

Checking in on Lepchenko-Rodionova. Lepchenko is a new fav after seeing her in Madrid this year. Someone said she's wearing an outfit from Venus' company. It's a tight white dress with asymmetrical black lines on it. I think the design is a little loud but the dress itself is super form flattering.

Lepchenko was up 4-0 but now it's 4-2.

The commentators metioned that Petrova destroyed Halep 1 and 1 on this court and looked very sharp while doing it. That's nice to hear.
