I'm surprised that Sock (i.e. "future") did not get a WC into the main draw, and that Blake (i.e. "past") did instead.

I'm not.

Blake has name recognition and therefore is a crowd draw. Sock does not (yet) have that. That's all it boils down to, really. The ticket factor.
