I've mentioned this before, but Daniel Kosakowski is the younger brother of my local pro. His match is on TV right now and it is so great to see a kid you know just crushing the ball. He is up 4-2 on the #2 seed.

I DVR'd qualies today so I'm just watching this now. He's really fun to watch. Obviously rough around the edges but I love the way he smacks the ball. He gets really overambitious sometimes on the forehand, but he's loads of fun to watch. Speaking of which...the match was interspersed with footage of Samantha Crawford, who is perhaps the next Sloane Stephens. Huge groundies, frustratingly inconsistent. She's a couple moderate adjustments away from looking like a very, very solid professional. Same for Kosakowski.
