Surely Nestor was consulted . Don't think he has a better chance with Raonic

Maybe Raonic didn't want to play, otherwise I disagree. A combination of two top singles players usually beat out 95% of doubles specialists whenever it really matters. Remember who won the last time? After all hardly anyone willingly becomes doubles specialist these days...
