in that case, I reserve the right to take back all nice things I have ever thought, said or posted about other players, become bitter and sarcastic and join you in the random, random-thread .
Until then, I gotta say that I really like Del Potro. I like how he was able to turn his career around. When I saw him play at my very first live tennis tournament, RG 2007, I knew he was said to be the next best thing and he handled himself well against Nadal. But shortly afterwards, it seems like everyone was writing him off, saying he failed to live up to his talent -even though he was still so young!- and making fun of his retirements, at least until this one horrible scene when he was crying on court because of his back pain.
So yeah, I am happy to see him succeed.
