Kind of continuing our discussion from the Day 7 thread Serena and Venus were not totally involved with the USTA system and Richard and Oracene weren't taking on students.

I know, but that's not how follow-up wave of players is produced anyway. It's produced when talented boys/girls (or their parents, I guess) get inspired by a huge success of their compatriot and want to be like them.
