Why Paes is not playing with Stepanek?

...I didn't realize Marach and Peya had broken up, mainly b/c of Marach's injury issues:

Maybe Paes saw a fresh opportunity? (Maybe losing to Kubot/Tipsarevic in straights was too much?)
