American tennis star, Bethanie Mattek-Sands, withdrew from the Sony Ericsson Open 2012 after sustaining a lower back injury. She is planning to skip the upcoming WTA (Women’s Tennis Association) Premier Mandatory event taking place on the hard courts at Key Biscayne in Miami, Florida.

The Lady Gaga of tennis, Mattek-Sands, is planning to skip few of the upcoming tournaments including the Sony Ericsson Open after bearing the low back injury.
