The racquet smash king is dead! Long live the king (Marcos?)!

Bummer to see injuries as the cause of retirement.

He set the bar, obliterated it, then raised it again so that the next generation can smash through it. There should be a formal coronation ceremony at IW or Miami, where the crumpled racquet frame is handed over and Baghdatis is officially sworn in. We'll need an intermission during the inevitable 4.5 hour final between Novak and Rafa anyway.
