The first thing I thought about when I saw that was that if Mardy was a college basketball team, that loss would have taken him out of the NCAA tournament. Good thing for him that tennis doesn't work that way.

Mardy might have felt as though he was playing someone from the basketball team - ATP site has Olivetti as 6'8".
