Could the arctic A/C temperatures in cinemas like Acropolis be linked to the fact that the shops there, as well as in other malls, stock what seems to be a full range of winter clothes? Or is it just that they don't do their homework and register that the DR is a tropical country?

I think the Diamond Mall Cinemas are OK, although I wish the staff there would be a bit more assertive with the brats with mobile phones and laser pointers.
