I agree. very much not the lack of caton but the addition of mac. Caton had his moments, but his contributions overall were meh especially after hearing how great SLG was with Belew.

also tori has been in an inspiration rut forever. she lives in cornwall, records in cornwall, lives with husband, works with husband, and up until last tour was playing with the same boys since 98. i think having new life influences and music influences can inspire good art and that is why i am crossing fingers for next album.
think of how playing with the boys live for the first time inspired her to write TV&B.

not holding breath, just crossing fingers.
