I think if they ever did come to England (which they shouldn't, they are Scottish, and before you throw the Cardiff/Swansea/Wrexham card at me. the League Of Wales was formed in 1992, years and years and years after those clubs came to be) it would be wildly optimistic to say they would finish nearer the top of the Table, it could happen in later years, but certainly not straight away because the fact is the bigger teams in the Premier League have vastly superior players. I'd say they'd probably finish mid table at first. The reasoning that they are too good for that league is a pretty flimsy one for me though, and not one I'd consider as feasible for a reason for entry to the Premier League, because you could easily argue Barcelona and Real Madrid are too good for La Liga, that us, Arsenal and Chelsea are probably too good for the Premier League and that Lyon are too good for Ligue One.
It's about whats good for the league. And having two more massive teams in the league is a good thing. They will join eventually I think, because right now they are losing money staying in the SPL. And actually I think if the Old Firm left the SPL it would be better for the scottish league as a whole, and scottish football.
