Also, the 1994 World Cup set attendance records that had stood for over 40 years. The average attendance per game was 69,000, for a total of 3.6 million attendees. That was in 1994, I'd imagine it would be even bigger the next time around. Granted a lot of people travel to the World Cup, but we also have the biggest stadiums in the world... hell, we have a number of stadiums that will seat over 100,000 people, and even more with a 90,000+ capacity.
