Rooney will be back in about 2 weeks. Now let's just say we beat Blackburn next Sunday, then he would be back for the Man City game (that is his target date) or if not that then certainly the Tottenham game.

So essentially we only have to cope without him for only one league game if what Rooney said (about him being back in 2 weeks) is true. Which wouldn't be that bad.

Of course it's all ifs and buts and we may well lose to Bayern on Wednesday and then Blackburn throw a spanner in the works next Sunday in which case the point becomes redundant.

I really don't think it's as easy as saying "Berbatov's a lazy cunt who doesn't work as hard as Rooney", it's a hell of a lot more deeper than that. Berbatov didn't actually play that badly yesterday, it was the shoddy midfield performance that cost us yesterday, and because Berbatov's been playing well lately it makes the initial excuse totally wrong.
