I would agree the onside kick call was a total show of guts and determination. The 2-point conversion, however, was a no-brainer. Any coach at any level SHOULD make that call in that situation. They were down by 5. A1-point kick would have been meaningless, because a Colts TD beats you anyway. The 2-pt was the ONLY option in that situation. To do anything else would have idiotic.

BUT several people were like "they would never do that anymore"

football has changed since the 80's...or so I'm told.
