The serenity on the water is good for the soul.

It is Fred and I have some terrific memories of fishing with my Grandpa.

Getting out on the lake, just as dawn broke, the water is like glass. The bow of the boat cuts through the water making ripples that go forever. The smell of the lake water mixed with the boat fuel and garlic bait.

Then sitting there, line in the water, waiting for the bobble or strike. He would coo to the fish, "Here fishy, fishy, fishy" as he threw the bait in.
