~ If I did go to the gym just to work on a certain muscle group over and over again it would be excessive and I would get limited results compared to if I let them rest and heal.

I just started again. I used to go 4-5 days a week until I broke my arm. Then I stopped. But I am getting ready to start a new job, were it is in my best intrest to get back into shape.
