^ I don't see Sharon as being down on herself; I think she's surprised at the sort of praise she's getting, and it seems a justifiable response - not because she's not fantastic, but because the show has more characteristically been interested in a sort of passable, illusory genre of drag. As Sharon said, episode 1: drag isn't always just fishy bitches. But historically speaking, Ru's aesthetic definitely tends more toward that line.
It was another siq-ning episode! Though I like Madame as a personality, I'm really ready to see her go. She's just not on the same technical level. And her surface resemblance to Delta really doesn't pay off, because Delta was polished as hell. I actually do see the Stacy Layne Matthews comparison, because they're both out of their league. Mainly I'm ready to kill Jiggly, though. I recognize that she's obviously still grappling with her mom's death, but jesus, I just don't think I can take her defensive nastiness anymore. She's just one big negative weight (har har) in every scene. And she's not anywhere near as flawless as she thinks. Hi, Asian stereotypes? Manila did them last season, and she was actually funny.
Still rooting for Sharon, Chad, and Latrice. Those are my big three, even though I'm already worried that Chad and Latrice are going to end up being mid-season fallouts in favor of more obvious choices, or more tempestuous personalities.
