Steve Buscemi - Boardwalk Empire
Bryan Cranston - Breaking Bad
Michael C. Hall - Dexter
John Hamm Mad Men
Hugh Laurie - House

i love all of these shows and there's no way i would be able to choose a winner. i think steve buscemi has done a really good job on boardwalk empire; usually, he seems to play very fidgety and nervous/neurotic characters, but his "nucky" character on BW has such an intense calmness, it makes him irresistible (to me at least) and a very fascinating person to watch on screen.

The Walking Dead my feelings are the same here; i watch all of these shows (the good wife, however, is not at the top of my list) and i wouldn't even know where to begin to choose a winner. it's interesting that the walking dead got nominated with only 6 episodes, but wow, those six episodes were really amazing. i was underwhelmed with this season of dexter, but mad men did not disappoint. it seems like, to me, it just gets better with each season.
