I hate situations like this. Of course, if she's straight, then she's straight, and there's nothing wrong with saying that. But these kinds of denials, to me, always seems to reinforce the notion that there would have been something "wrong" if she was in fact a lesbian. But I guess there wasn't anything else the White House could do. :: When did they remove fact-checking from the journalistic curricula?
