Two weeks ago, one of his assistants tripped an opposing player returning a kick - given that all the coaches had formed a sideline "wall", there was a lot of speculation that the move was just one more trick in Ryan's book. Ryan's also incredibly foul mouthed in press conferences, and disliked by most other coaches, as well as a large portion of the press. So something like this is a feeding frenzy for sports media.
