Mary and he broke up in 2001. Can't remember completely, but there was not a whole lot said when they ended things. Which was odd, because Pierce always gushed about how important he was in her life, how he got her spiritually centered, and was a huge positive influence. Those rosary beads she wore around her neck were a gift from him.
