I glanced at the Basel draw, saw that Fed was not in the #2 seed position and immediately wondered when he withdrew. Only looking at the draw line by line did I realize he is the third seed.

How the mighty have fallen. A bit sad.

And in a 500-level tourney!! Actually, for 500's these are incredibly stacked draws. Almost all top 40 players (at least as the entry deadline) are playing this week.
