I'm sure we all have our own ideas of how the program for Saturday should have been set up -- but we're not in charge of that, the USTA organizers are, and it's set.

I agree that the two women's SF should be run as nearly concurrently as possible, in fairness to all four of the ladies. However I would have scheduled them before the men's matches, since the men have Sunday off, and the women have to play on Sunday.

Just my two cents' worth.
I would have put the women's on first as well, but for different logic. Murray/Nadal will have played three consecutive days whereas the women have had a day off. But maybe the reverse of that is that you wouldn't want to necessarily give them a very late night match, either.

I dunno. Everything will make someone unhappy. I tend not to question the scheduling for that reason. (Other than the extended first round thing).
