I know many here will be happy to have seen and heard the last of Dick Enberg, but certainly not me.

The tributes from the players said it all. "We love you" from Pete Sampras. "Can you please just stay to do MY matches?" from Serena. (I'm tearing up again, as I did when I watched the original tributes, just typing that.) They all could hear how much he loved the game. And that great voice. Oh my, Dick, you'll be greatly missed.

I was struck by what he said after the tribute. Something like, "I'd be thrilled if you have me back."

Was he forced out by CBS?

This match "feels" like a final.
