I feel like Medina Garrigues is the perfect 3rd round opponent for Zvonareva. She's going to have a bunch of tough deuce games without being in much danger of losing.

Medina Garrigues is solid on every shot, but Vera 2.0 can actually hurt you with every shot. They're both all court players. Vera is just better.

I checked out the h2h to see if I was right. 3-1 Vera, all three wins being drubbings. The loss was a 6-3 3-0 retirement and I don't know the story there. They haven't played since 2008, so I imagine the new Vera will only win more easily. We'll see!
