She is using that "Top 10 exemption " to play Cincinnati....My goal was more to complete Scotty 's answer. I know she will most likely not play after the US Open.

Wouldn't she still get in if she had ended the year 11th? If she gets eight "protected ranking" tournaments for being out with injury, the top ten thing would only come into play on tournament 9.
