No kidding. Wozniacki is supporting the WTA side of tournaments in the Scandinavian region. With the WTA rules, Copenhagen moved to a spot before Wimbledon so Wozniacki be able to play both International events.

This is probably the only rational reason Caro is playing a tournament on clay, after Wimbledon, before the US Open Series.

Yet it's still odd scheduling going into the summer hardcourt season. You would think she'd enjoy a few weeks off to recharge before the long summer-to-fall stretch where she's defending a ton of points.
