Respectfully disagree. I will always believe Andy's "downfall" was trying to adopt Andre's late-career attitude early in his career, choosing to build a marketable image over doing whatever it takes to win. It's an admirable model, but it just doesn't work for everyone.

I really think if he accepted that he's more of a Hewitt, he'd have fewer endorsements but more titles.
I don't understand what you mean!

does this "marketable image" includes the regular insult-baiting foul treatments and tirades of umpires and judges? and actually I don't think that he has that much endorsements as an American, he could do a lot better with all that's in the US
-not to mention that he is actually managed by the French (Lagardére) and his main sponsor Lacoste is a French company.....

Also, I think he want to win *too much*, in the sense that it clouds his tactical judgement at times, instead of putting the breaks and maneuver he just goes gung-ho, throwing the kitchen sink and everything at his opponents.
