Nope, I mean that I think it is a glimpse into the real Andy that he works hard to suppress in public, but it comes out when he's really frustrated. Define "regular".
this is your sentence:
I will always believe Andy's "downfall" was trying to adopt Andre's late-career attitude early in his career, choosing to build a marketable image over doing whatever it takes to win. It's an admirable model, but it just doesn't work for everyone

and it doesn't match what you are saying just above.

I don't believe Roddick tried to build a marketable image like Agassi because if he did he wouldn't have these regular, offputting outbursts in front of worldwide cameras. His reputation is starting to be more about the way he regularly treats/berates line judges, umpires, ball kids, or fellow players he deems "inferior" [in tennis terms] (Tipsarevic, remember Tsonga at the AO some years back? etc..). and for someone who is American and who supposedly is following Agassi's handbook choosing French endorsers (Babo lat, Lacoste) and management (Lagardère) is sure way to crack the US market like Agassi did.

ha and by regular I mean: belonging to a religious order
