Wow, this is going to be interesting! 1 GS champ in the quarters, and she hasn't won one since '08.

I notice Vika is the early SP bandwagon, meaning... people think she'll lose her semi?

At least six women could conceivably win this--seven if God is into big breasts, eight if God likes moles. I'm glad I'm out of it.

I hope the quality of play on the women's side remains so high. It has been the most pleasant surprise of this event. Regardless of who wins it, I hope there will be consensus that the 2011 women's champion deserved it.

There were moments today when Marion Bartoli literally SCARED me. I'm serious. SCARED me. Like, if I had a child, I would scurry the rugrat off just to make sure she didn't eat him/her. SCARED me.
