Not exactly. I know it was a Russian and her ranking topped out in the 90s or so before she faded away. Saw her play once in a major, I believe, and hitting forehands on both sides was really, well, jolting. I'm 90% sure it was Koulikovskaya, but I'm too lazy to look it up.
Gotcha. Never saw Evgenia play, so I can't help there. MSL is another example of the same thing, though. It was weird to watch her change her hand position every time she went to hit a backhand.
