I always forget how terrible Marion is on clay until she loses first round in about six straight claycourt tournaments in a row each Spring.

She's going to be the 9-12 seed that every top player wants to draw come RG.

The strange this is that before her shock run to the Wimbledon final she made the R16 at the French when she wasn't seeded to. Sharapova also made the quarters of the French before winning Wimbledon in 04. I guess if a fish out of water does well at Rolland Garros, we can expect big things on a more appropriate surface.
