I see Venus' favorite people, Pironkova and Pennetta, could be waiting for her in the 3rd and 4th round.

I saw her draw and thought "She owes somebody a muffin basket."

Pironkova has been playing terrible tennis since Wimbledon, and Pennetta hasn't been playing well either, and is seeded to lose to Peer. Venus' most likely path to the QF is scrub-scrub-scrub-Peer.
